Marguet Père et Fils

The House of Champagne Marguet Père Fils

Benoit.jpgThe Marguet family have owned vineyards in Champagne since 1870 and in 1905 the first bottle of their Champagne was sold from their cellars. Today Christian and Benoît, respectively the fourth and fifth generation, still faithfully and passionately continue to follow their family's tradition of excellence.

The House of Champagne Marguet Père Fils is located in AMBONNAY,  in the middle of the three cities: Reims - Epernay - Châlons-en-Champagne.

Benoit Marguet and his family team up to make distinctive Champagnes of the great Montagne de Reims region also called Côte des Noirs. With the exception of the family 0.70 hectares on top of the Avenue de Champagne in Epernay, all the other grapes come from friends growers, mainly in famous Premier Cru villages such like Chigny les Roses, Villedommange.

The Montagne de Reims stamps on Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier grapes superb fruit and balance that you enjoy in our Champagne Blanc de Noirs and Champagne Rosé. Champagne Blanc de Noirs is a speciality. It is a white Champagne only made with black grape varieties. It can be reached after a carefull grape picking by hand and a very gentle pressing. The Special Cuvée Valentine is the third Champagne available today. It is named from Benoit and Severine's daughter and celebrates the 6th generation. Champagne Valentine pleases Champagne lovers all year long and at Saint Valentine's day.
