JHB Champagne tasting and dinner 21 July

Evening programme:
6.30pm: MCC on arrival
7.00pm: Guests seated in function room  for Champagne tasting of 9 French champagnes listed below:
Champagnes in the line- up:
First flight - Jacquesson 734 (first time tasting- just landed), Lallier grand cru and Duval-Leroy Paris
Second flight: 2 different takes on 100% Pinot Noir - Drappier brut nature, zero dosage and white champagne, and Lallier rosé
Third flight: Blanc de Blancs- Drappier Signature non vintage and Colin vintage 2003.
Final: Lacombe vintage 2002 and Drappier grande Sendrée 2002
Draw: A lucky draw will be done for a bottle of Champagne.
Dinner menu:
Starters served on the table: House salad, Fresh baked breads, Beef carpaccio with parmesan, falklands calamari with sweet chilli jam.
Mains: Choice of Grain fed sirloin with trio of sauces, 
or chicken breast with cabernet glaze
or grilled line fish with lemon butter cream all served with chips/ mash or pap and seasonal vegetables.
Dessert: Vanilla ice cream with lindt chocolate sauce
